The German Day at the PDAC was successfully held and conducted by the Canadian German Chamber of Commerce and DERA in Toronto Various presentations and a panel discussion highlighted the requirements to enable more mining activities in the future in order to sufficiently contribute to the Green energy transition. Some examples of smaller mining activities were provided by Rock Tech Lithium and Baymag Inc.
In principle there was a spirit of optimism, although participants saw a Lack of finance, largely undefinite roles of Western World govermental Support to mining and a so far unsufficient support to increase Exploration and start-up of New mining activities to meet increasing demand of various Minerals in future by mining Majors such as BHP, RioTinto Proyectos y Desarrollos, S.L., Glencore and others.
